And… wow, I picked a bad time to fall behind on webcomics. I’ve always loved this comic but what an emotional gut punch it’s become. You’ve taken the story to some really powerful places and I can’t wait to be here for the rest of it!
The way Paracelsus behaved at the play makes so much more sense now. I never understood why he spit out his drink at that exact moment until I reread it and realized he didn’t know that actor was playing Nix until he said so. You have guts for setting up something like that in the format of a webcomic where it won’t pay off for YEARS… but I’m glad you did!
