So, I moved!

Actually, I’m still in the process of moving, and have been over the past month or so, which is why I’ve been unable to update a couple times. I’m mostly fully at the new place now, and my workstation is mostly set up, but there’s still a lot to do and a ton of stuff to unpack. I don’t want to leave you all hanging, though, so in order to actually collect the fragments of my life that are scattered around in boxes in my new apartment but still update, I’m going to only post one page this week, on Thursday the 25th. After that, we will actually, for the realest of reals, be back to a 2-pages per week schedule consistently. I don’t have anything else on my calendar that would interfere. I checked.

So I will return from the jungle of boxes and bins on Thursday to post a new page. See you then, and thank you as always for your patience!

It seems like the only time I update the blog is when I have to tell you this and for that I am sorry, but also I’m not? Because Life is Happening at me this week and I haven’t had enough time to devote to Page 383 and have it come out looking as good as it possibly can. So I’m going to delay it till Thursday and make it the best it can possibly be, instead of a page that looks like reheated butt. I think you will agree that the former is preferable. I never really mention it (because why would I), but I work a full time job in addition to BSF. This week, things have been particularly rough at work. As a result, I haven’t had a lot of time to work on Page 352. I was kind of amazed I was able to get Page 351 done!

So, I could just force the page out on time, but if I did, it wouldn’t look good. The first panel is relatively complex and if I just try to fudge it to get the page out I’m going to regret it forever. So I’m going to defer page 352 till Tuesday. This comic is super important to me, and so is your experience reading it. That is why I really try to keep to my schedule; being able to get a comic page when you expect it is super integral to the ideal experience. But… I value the quality of the comic even more than that. So now instead of a rushed, lousy page 352 tomorrow, you will get The Best Possible Page 352 on Tuesday, April 29th.

I really wish I didn’t need to do this, and I apologize for making you all wait, but if I compromise on quality, what even is the point? (There isn’t one. I checked.)
