Mainly to get ready for Stumptown this weekend and partially in order to take care of some other things, I’m going to need to put the comic on hold this week. During the hold, I’ll also be playing a little bit of much-needed catch-up on writing, planning, and drawing, so don’t despair; on Tuesday, May 1st the story will resume as usual with its usual fervor. Thanks for understanding and for reading!
I’ve been waiting on an order to arrive before announcing this, and it arrived today, with only a week to spare.

I will be at the 2012 Stumptown Comics Fest, which is being held this April 28th and 29th at the Oregon Convention Center. I’ll be at table E-4 selling Blasphemous Saga Fantasy Volume 1, which is a collection of the first 8 chapters, which also happens to be the first 100 pages. It’s in full color and will cost $10.00. I have 30 copies. I’ll also be selling a BSF side story, Seb and Lina in: Cave of the Mimics, BSF Mini 1 (which is just the first two chapters of the webcomic), and my minicomic story The Return of Quetzalcoatl, which is not BSF related. I’ll also have You Encounter a Monster buttons. If you happen to be able to make it and pick up a copy of Volume 1, let me know you read BSF and I’ll try to find some space to throw a little sketch of your favorite character on the inside front cover. I was a dope and didn’t leave a blank page for but but we can figure something out! So if you can make it, stop by and say hi!
And yes, if you can’t make it to the ‘Fest, don’t despair; I’m going to find a way to sell my remaining stock online after the convention, so you will be able to order Volume 1. Even if I do sell out, I’ll order more, so either way the book will be for sale online soon!
Welp, I’m done moving. I’m not done unpacking, but I’m moved enough to get drawing again. Moving is kind of crappy, I really wouldn’t recommend doing it unless you have to. Anyway, here’s a BSF page, please enjoy.
I’m not going to be able to do any BSF this week, because I’m moving to a new apartment. It’s not far but I’ve discovered that I have WAY too much stuff, so I’m going through that as much as I can and moving every day this week. I’ll be done by the 21st, so BSF will return on October 25th. Thanks for your patience and understanding and for reading my comic!
My good friends Shizuma and KF Harlock have just released their 8-Bit Console Style RPG, SPELLSHARD: The Black Crown of Horgoth. This game is the product of nearly a decade of hard work (they started in 2002, before 8-Bit was hip again!), and I’m proud to have played a small part in its development. You see, I won a contest they were holding, and the prize was to design one monster and one weapon for the game.
You might be asking what this has to do with BSF, but the answer should be obvious: the Dragon Blade is an obtainable weapon, and there’s a monster to fight somewhere from my other site, You Encounter a Monster. So go download the game at the official site!
