Hey guys, this week has been really rough and what I’ve been able to produce in the time I’ve had this week is not up to quality. Page 518 would really benefit from some extra time, so there will be no update this Friday, and instead it will go up on Tuesday the 9th, at which point updates will go forward as normal.

Hey everyone! As the holidays approach, my schedule predictably fills up, and my ability to provide you with the best possible BSF page diminishes immensely. In other words, I’m about to be crazy busy and anything I’d draw in my limited spare time would look like butt.
So I’m going to take next week (the 21st through the 25th) off and will resume updates on December 29th.

I apologize for this, everyone, but Page 491 of BSF is going to have to be deferred until Tuesday, 10/27. First, I got sick (again), then my cat got sick, which necessitated an emergency vet visit, and NOW, the hard drive I keep all my BSF files on appears to be failing! So I have to figure all that stuff out before I can really get drawing again. As always thank you all for your patience and understanding, and see you on the 27th!
I’ve been plagued by some nonspecific illness since Monday afternoon. It’s one of those ones where you think you can do most things until you actually try to get to doing any of them and you just feel gross and need to go lie down for a while. The plague specter has taken a slightly firmer grip on me today, the day I would normally be inking the next page. It could have waited, maybe, but y’know how it is. I don’t get to decide that guy’s schedule.
My bold assumption is that my immune system will get this sorted out by the coming weekend and page 486 will be posted on Tuesday, October 6th. As always, I apologize for the delay and I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding in this matter.
So I already wrote and thumbnailed the next page.
The problem is, it’s one of those pages where I know deep down that I need to take some time with it to really work out all the kinks with the layout before finalizing it. The more the tension ramps up, the more I’ve gotta be sure my storytelling is the best it can be, so you always know what’s going on!
Life has been happening at me pretty hard for the past couple of weeks. It’s all coming to a head pretty much on Tuesday, and Monday is already shaping up to be a busier day than usual. Normally I’d take today to chill and work on the layout and then crank out the final page on Monday, but with the limited time I’ll have that’s not going to be doable while maintaining any semblance of the usual quality, so I’m going to defer this page till Friday so you get the Best Possible BSF Experience (BPBSFE) that you have come to expect.
