It seems like every time I post to the blog, it’s in order to tell you that I’m not going to be able to post pages this week. Unfortunately, that is 50% the case with this post. I was traveling all weekend and didn’t have any time to finish this week’s pages.
BUT!
I have time tomorrow and Wednesday, so Page 319 will be posted on Thursday! After that, the holidays are over, so nothing will stand between you and new pages from me, on schedule, as 2014 begins.
Speak of 2014, I wanted to let you know that I am working on some BSF-related things that will be ready relatively soon.
- I’m working on a combined site redesign and switch to ComicEasel (or something better/newer than ComicPress, at least) by the end of January. As it is, the site is a little too cluttered for my tastes and I really want to clean it up so you have a better reading experience.
- I’m about ready to start assembling BSF Volume 3, which will be comprised of Chapters 12 through 14. While Volumes 1 and 2 were 100 pages each, Volume 3 is a whole 110 pages. That is a whole TEN additional pages! This is just because I couldn’t end Chapter 14 on page 300 exactly like I could do with the other volume-enders, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
- You might be wondering if you can but Volumes 1 and 2. The answer is, not yet, but I am finally setting up a store and hope to have it ready at or around the same time that the site redesign is finished. Shortly after the store opens I will be adding Volume 3, and then a poster, hopefully. Details forthcoming.
So that is the plan for this week and 2014. Sorry the holidays have been so hectic; a lot of has changed in my life from how things were last year, and all for the better, but it means this time of year has gotten a lot busier. I want you to know that I still love working on this comic and that’s not about to change, so thank you for understanding, have a great 25th (whether you celebrate or not) and see you on the 26th for Page 319!
